one fine day, i received an email for a logo design project.
the brief was to create a simple logo for a small cupcakes business and the owner loves animals especially rabbits and cats, so she wanted to combine cupcakes and animals.
she even gave me a list of URLs and also tons of name card designs for my reference.
looking at the cool name card design references, i felt interested to work on it.
few days later, i showed some sample to her BF on my laptop and he took some photos using his phone.
(i never send email for design samples) :
and the next few days, i received an sms form her. something like :
hey, i like it very much, but im in a tight budget, i cant afford you...im really sorry and thanks so much for your help yah. :)
i recently checked out their website, this is what i found. yay!

day 1 : "we need something different from what we already have now, something with your style." (while showing their previous designs)
day 8 : "i think you misunderstood us, look at our previous designs, we need something similar to that."
never ending story
saturday : "we are on a very tight budget. we need to send the design to client this monday and it needs to be the coolest design ever. don't worry there's tons of projects for u in the future."
wednesday : "can u send another sample? a simple one will do"
friday : "ok theres a few minor changes on the design"
sunday : "now waiting for client's comment"
tuesday : "ok, can u change the color. then i think should be final already."
friday : "ah damn, sorry bro, there's a few minor changes on the info."
